Installation of a dissipative system in EX-areas, clean rooms, chemical, pharmaceutical and electronics industries - epoxy resin based system

In many sensitive industrial and medicinal areas, electrostatic charge must be prevented. Electrostatic discharge can ignite e.g. vapours, gases or dust. In addition to electrostatic charge, electric fields can also arise, which can interfere with or damage electronic components. Therefore a dissipative finish is always mandatory in gas facilities, laboratories, the chemical and electronics industry, computer areas, clean rooms, operating theatres etc. The goal here is to depress the resistance to earth far enough so that electrostatic charges can be dissipated to non-critical areas. A prerequisite is the use of disspative tiles or tiles with a disspative glaze. The SCHOMBURG product range contains not only a mineral based but also an epoxy resin based system to cope with all requirements relating to economical, mechanical and chemical aspects as well as, not least, safety aspects.
