Water mill in Nuenen, Holland
The mill is a unique complex of two mills (oil and flour mill) to which a house with a barn belong. This monument is of great historic value and was therefore completely restored. The water mill in Nuenen was painted by Vincent van Gogh in 1884. The whereabouts of the 87 x 151 cm painting is however unknown. The Architect's plan scheduled the restoration of the dilapidated dry barn, which formed the centrepiece of the mill and introduced a new disposition. This is resplendent today and is home to an exclusive restaurant.
