Preparing the details 1. Depressions > 5 mm and mortar pockets, plaster grooves in brickwork, open butt or bed joints, damaged areas, large pored substrates or uneven masonry work must be levelled in advance with ASOCRET-M30 (cement-based mortar). 2. Scrape out crumbly masonry joints approx. 2 cm deep and clean the surfaces mechanically.
Preparing the surface 1. When applying to very dense or smooth substrates, we recommend applying a bond coat of ASOCRET-HS-FLEX. Alternatively, a splatterdash coat of THERMOPAL-SP could be applied depending on the specific project. 2. Pre-moisten the dry substrate so that it is matt damp at the time of application. 3. Extremely absorbent and slightly sandy substrates must be primed with AQUAFIN-Primer.
Application Mixing 1. Add ASOCRET-M30 with From 4.5 l to 5.25 l per 25 kg clean water to a mixing bucket and mix with a stirrer until free from lumps. 2. The mixing time is ca. 3 minutes. 3. After a settling period of ca. 5 minutes, thoroughly homogenise the compound again.

Pre-screen the prepared substrate with ASOCRET-M30 in a consistency that is able to screen. Alternatively, AQUAFIN®-1K can also be applied as a bond coat depending on the specific job type. Whilst still wet, install a sealing cove with an edge height of 4-6 cm made of ASOCRET-M30 and round it off. The cementitious sealing cove can be overcoated after approx. 3 hours with the respective waterproofing system.

ASOCRET-M30 is applied to the prepared substrate in advance with a scratch coat and then applied in the desired layer thickness. Striking off is done with a suitable tool (float, trowel or plasterer’s darby), depending on the application, within the pot life. The surface can be rubbed down using a Rubber squeegee, felt or sponge board after a corresponding waiting time. Alternatively, after approx. 60-80 minutes (depending on the substrate, ambient conditions and layer thickness), a grid float can be used to remove unevenness and create an open surface that ensures good bonding for subsequent coatings.
Repair of voids 1. The prepared voids must be pre-dampened with matt dampness at the chopped out edges and then backfilled with ASOCRET-M30 flush with the surface. 2. Deep voids or defects must first be filled with a scratch coat. 3. Finish the last levelling layer using a Rubber squeegee, felt or sponge board.

Disposal Product residues can be disposed of in accordance with disposal code AVV 17 01 01.
Notes Protect surfaces that are not to be treated from the effects of ASOCRET-M30! Protect ASOCRET-M30 from weathering influences such as rain, frost and strong solar radiation, wind, etc. until totally dry! Protect ASOCRET-M30 from drying out too quickly (e.g. due to high temperatures or wind, by taking suitable measures, e.g. spraying with water several times or covering). Do not add water or new mortar to existing ASOCRET-M30 mortar that has already set in order to make it workable again. (Risk of inadequate strength development) High temperatures shorten and low temperatures extend the drying time. Before using ASOCRET-M30, the existing test certificates, the current relevant guidelines and the WTA data sheet "Subsequent sealing of components in contact with the ground" must be observed.
